Gerhard Greyling is working as a camera assistant and Loader.
He is looking for new opportunities to bring him closer to his goal that is to become a Steady cam operator.
The biggest asset of his personality is that he is innovative, creative and always thinks out of the box. He has the ability to
create opportunities that other people are still waiting for.
His energetic adventurous personality tends to lure people. It was on such an occasion that he met the Trinity operator/ camera operator Jo Oosthuizen from Big Jo Productions while camping in his matric year.
With him, always in charge of situations and a skilled handyman by nature he was the perfect candidate for a steady cam operating assistant job. Doing a lot of research, putting his study plans aside, he grabbed the opportunity and started working that next year as an assistant where he quickly progressed to the next level as a Loader.
On school level, he excelled in every activity and project he took on. He played hockey for Gauteng province and rugby for the Leopards that participated at the Coca Cola Craven week and he participated in the provincial athletic championships.
When he wasn’t competing in some sort of activity he was always part of the team and in charge of the social activities. A lot of his contributing characteristics was formed in boarding school where he learned to be independent, a problem solver, a team player and to be loyal. He grew up on a farm and his surroundings played the most dominant part in forming his character. It is here that he has learned a lot of skills that puts him in a most favourable position for any job opportunity.
