Riaan started in the film industry 10 years ago doing live sound! He met a guy who shot music videos and started gripping in a very unconventional way – He’s gone on to key a host of local features, did a stint on Resident Evil when they shot in Jo’burg.

He has been rigging grip on Madiba and Legend of the Black Snake, as well as a Technocrane Operator and is now a sought after key on commercials both in Cape Town and Jo’burg and working for some of SA’s best DP’s.
