Devin comes from a super creative family – Dad a photographer and Mom a Stylist – Heading into the film industry with an instinctual creativity for lighting and lensing was a rather obvious step.

After graduating he worked his way swiftly up the ranks paying his dues for no money on music videos all over Africa. Luckily for us he survived, and his passion for filmmaking was not diminished.

He’s been a fully fledged DP since 2013, rapidly gaining a reputation for exquisite visuals within budget. In 2016 he shot his first full length feature and was also named number 1 Loeries Cinematographer for his work on Chicken Licken ‘Kung Fu’, Ster Kinekor ‘Vision Mission’ and 5 Fm. He’s a sought after DP in Joburg, Cape Town and very soon…. THE WORLD!!
